Track time with context.

Timer or manual entry

The time view includes “Start time” and “Enter time manually”. Both lead into the same project-based overview.

Give work context

Entries show the task, project and duration. Time is linked to work rather than merely added up.

Keep status visible

Recorded, billable and approved time appear separately. A recorded hour is not automatically a reviewed or already billed hour.

Questions from agencies and consultancies

How does time tracking help an agency bill projects?

Recorded time is assigned to a project or task, so you can understand where effort went. In a design project, for example, record concept work and revisions separately, then review the entries before preparing the service record.

Can I use a timer or add time later?

OOKI provides an active timer and manual time entries. Use the timer while working or add a period afterwards. For billing, the correct assignment and a reviewed entry matter as much as the recorded duration.

How do I distinguish billable work from internal work?

Task editing distinguishes billable services from internal effort. Before billing, check the assignment, billable status and any items already billed. Recording an hour does not automatically mean it belongs on a client invoice.

Are my time entries sent to the client immediately?

No. Time tracking, service records, approval and invoicing are separate steps. Review the work and decide which information to compile and share with the client. The interactive demo illustrates this transition with example data.

Is all recorded time billable?

No. Total effort, billable time and approval are separate. Whether an hour is billed depends on your agreement with the client.
